Erae Lab Nightly and Erae Sound Nightly install alongside the stable apps and keep their own settings, so your stable setup stays exactly as it is.
Updates on its own
Erae Lab Nightly checks for new beta builds and offers each one as it comes out, so you are always testing the latest changes.
Beta firmware on your Erae
Erae Lab Nightly updates your Erae to the beta firmware. The stable Erae Lab never installs older firmware over it, so your Erae stays on the beta firmware until a newer stable release comes out. Contact support if you need to go back sooner.
Expect rough edges
Beta builds can contain bugs. Save your projects before updating, and keep the stable release for shows and sessions that matter.
